This hotel was part of me falling in love with Istanbul! Great staff, very helpfull and the view from the balkony when having nice breakfast was nice. Also the people from cesme restaurant around the corner were very lovely! We really enjoyed our stay and i hope to come back soon :)

The Saruhan Hotel was the perfect getaway. Great location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast! Couldn't ask for more. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Turkey - hopefully soon! Tushukure et deriem!

I definitely recommend this hotel!

Had a great time at this hotel! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, tasty breakfast on the terrace, new lift for lazy people, the room looked recently renewed. Tip for the hotel: it would be great to install some coat hangers/hooks at the entrance or a small closet in the room. Thanks!

We enjoyed this hotel a lot. Very good breakfast: several kinds of cheese and jams. Excellent location and friendly English-speaking staff. Rooms were clean and not too small. We had a balcony in our room and a good view to a football area (my husband is a football fan). The hotel is quite and we will stay here again.

Great place & very friendly staff, definitely reccommend it!

We stayed for 2 nights only and loved it. The location is VERY nice between wooden old Istanbul houses, very close to Sultanahmet but far enough to be not touristy AND close to the water. Has great view from the rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy your amazing breakfast! I hope I will return one day to stay longer... Go for it, you will love it!

If you are looking for good value for money, and dont suffer any health issues (EVERYTHING is a steep uphil walk) - then the Saruhan is a great choice, with cleanliness and very helpful, polite staff. The family room is quite small, but its a cosy place!!
